Job Description

At St. Luke's, our dedicated team of Interpreters are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We strive to foster an environment that embraces our employees' unique strengths, experiences and perspectives which ultimately drives our exceptional, patient-centered care.
What You Can Expect:
  • Provide high-quality, accurate, and confidential interpretation services (consecutive and simultaneous) for medical settings, including emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, and behavioral health units.
  • Facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or DeafBlind, ensuring full understanding of diagnoses, treatment plans, and informed consent.
  • Adapt interpreting techniques for patients using American Sign Language (ASL), and experience with International Sign Language, utilizing cultural mediation skills to ensure clarity.
  • Full Time
