Certified Dietary Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to oversee our food service operations and ensure the provision of high-quality meals to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities in compliance with dietary needs and regulations
• Manage food production processes to maintain high quality and nutritional standards
• Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and serving
• Develop and implement menus that meet residents' dietary requirements and preferences
• Maintain staffing in department
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and storage
• Conduct regular inspections to assess cleanliness and organization of kitchen facilities

Requirements:

• Certification as a Dietary Manager or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in culinary arts, food service management, or related field
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, menu planning, and dietary requirements
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction
• Proficient in managing budgets, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
