Job Description

CFIs and MEIs plus management/ownership opportunities available for our Reserve, LA location at the KAPS airport. Other openings in North Canton, OH, Lansing, IL, Salt Lake City, UT, Killeen, TX, Orlando, FL, Daytona Beach, FL and Fort Myers, FL locations. We are opening new locations nationwide in 2026. We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Flight Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in aviation and a passion for teaching, enabling students to achieve their flight training goals. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to develop engaging curriculum, and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive learning environment.

- - You will be able to work at any location you choose. •ALL CFIs will be contacted and will have a ZOOM meeting scheduled in the order resumes are received and your pilot credentials are verified.•Responsibilities Conduct ground and flight training sessions in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and company policies. Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress towards certification. Ensure all training activities adhere to safety protocols and best practices in aircraft maintenance. Facilitate classroom instruction, utilizing effective public speaking techniques to engage students. Provide mentorship and support to students, fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Qualifications Valid Flight Instructor Certificate with appropriate ratings. Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and aviation standards. Experience in curriculum development tailored for flight training programs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly. Previous teaching or classroom experience is preferred; experience working with students is highly valued. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse student populations. Military experience in aviation or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with airframe systems and aircraft maintenance practices is beneficial.
