Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

The Role We are currently seeking a reliable, compassionate Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aide (CHHA) for a specific member in the Cape May and Salem areas. This is a one-on-one, in-home care position where you can truly make a difference in a member's daily life. Key Responsibilities Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support. Ensure the member's environment is safe and clean. Document care provided and report any changes in the member's condition. Mandatory Requirements Active NJ CHHA License in good standing (Verified via NJ Division of Consumer Affairs). Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check. Reliable transportation to and from the member's home in Salem and Cape May. Proven track record of reliability and punctuality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience Prior experience working in home health settings or assisted living facilities is highly preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation practices Hands-on experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions Working with online home care management software for accurate documentation Strong patient observation skills combined with the ability to work independently while following detailed care plans Join us to provide compassionate home health services that empower individuals to live safely and comfortably at home.
