Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate FT Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and personalized care. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, classroom management, and effective caregiving techniques to foster a positive learning experience for young children. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to infants and toddlers, promoting cognitive, social, and emotional growth Provide attentive caregiving, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of each child in your care Monitor and document developmental progress, communicating regularly with parents and guardians Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism Utilize behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions among children Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that support early childhood development standards Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and health & safety guidelines Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education Qualifications Massachusetts Professional Qualifications Certification (Infant/Toddler) CPR & First Aid (or willing to obtain it within 6 months) Ability to lift 30 lbs., sit on the floor, and actively engage with children Working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; experience with infants and toddlers preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes learning through play and exploration Reliable, patient, compassionate, and dedicated to fostering positive early childhood experiences Completion of StrongStart 2.0 essential 12-hour trainig.

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
