Certified Lifeguard

Job Summary We are seeking dependable and energetic Certified Lifeguards for the summer season at our outdoor pool. Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and guests while monitoring all pool activities and responding quickly to emergencies. Position Details Seasonal summer employment Shift work (depending on number of acceptable applicants) Outdoor pool hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Responsibilities Supervise swimmers and enforce pool safety rules Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies Perform water rescues and administer first aid/CPR when necessary Conduct routine pool area inspections for safety and cleanliness Assist with opening and closing pool duties Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with members and guests Report incidents, hazards, or maintenance concerns to management Requirements Current Lifeguard Certification Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Must be at least 16 years old (or as required by certification standards) Preferred Qualities Previous lifeguarding experience Team-oriented and dependable Comfortable working independently during assigned shifts We are looking for individuals who take pride in safety, professionalism, and creating a positive summer experience for our members and guests.

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
