In This Role, You Will:
Provide hands-on patient care by assisting with exams, treatments, and procedures. Take and record vital signs, perform patient assessments, and support providers in delivering high-quality care. Administer medications and injections safely and accurately within your scope of practice. Educate patients on procedures, medications, and follow-up care to ensure confidence and understanding. Keep accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Help coordinate patient care, including referrals, follow-ups, and communication with the care team. Support clinic operations by assisting with scheduling, phone calls, and front office needs when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment. Collaborate with a supportive team and help mentor future healthcare professionals.
What We're Looking For:
A compassionate and detail-oriented CMA who is committed to excellent patient care. Current Texas Certified Medical Assistant credential required. Current BLS certification for healthcare providers. At least 2 years of experience in a physician office setting preferred. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Comfort working with electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems). A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
