Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, medical procedures, and administrative support within diverse clinical settings. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient service, supporting physicians and healthcare professionals, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology will contribute to providing comprehensive care. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures including recording vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms with accuracy and professionalism. Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments as required in clinical setting. Support medical tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing electronic health records (EHR systems), and ICD coding for accurate documentation. Administer medications and injections following established protocols while maintaining patient safety standards. •Training provided. Operate diagnostic equipment including X-ray machines, EKG or other imaging tools as required in clinical setting. •Training provided. Ensure compliance with infection control policies, safety regulations, and proper sterilization procedures within clinical environments. Perform laboratory tasks such as specimen collection or processing when necessary. Provide compassionate patient service by listening to patient, conveying patient's concerns to provider and fostering a welcoming environment for diverse populations. Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary coworkers to deliver optimal patient care. Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions is essential. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, ICD coding, medication administration. Demonstrated ability to handle intake assessments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings. Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
