Job Description

Worship Pastor Job Role:
A pastor with a passion to lead and serve the worship ministry and media team. Other roles involve Sunday services, midweek programming, special events, volunteering/serving in outreach events, and other ministries. Other duties will be assigned based on the needs of the church.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and lead worship for public gatherings and all church wide meetings, events, and outreaches. Oversee, maintain, prepare, and schedule adult and youth worship teams for services, events, and outreaches. Oversee all technical components and teams for public worship gatherings. Oversee the media team, its workflow, and its volunteers. Meet regularly with worship and media ministry leaders/volunteers to see if help is needed and to make sure the volunteers understand our core principles and the responsibilities of their roles and positions. Recruit, develop, and train media and worship team members with each of their roles. Provide training and procedures to the leaders and volunteers for emergency events such as fire, bad weather, active shooter, and medical emergencies. Pursue Sunday morning and Wednesday evening check-ins with your team and providing weekly encouragements are a high priority. Share a profound love of Jesus through worship for our church and community. Oversee and ensure the maintenance, care, and replacement of equipment related to the worship and media ministries. Develop and oversee the annual worship ministry budget in a way that effectively utilizes church resources and maximizes ministry opportunities. Create strategic ideas for reaching and connecting with the current and new families. Plan and oversee special events. Plan and execute worship events/outings. Direct weekly rehearsals as necessary to facilitate excellent worship experiences. Schedule and plan monthly practices to ensure confidence of the worship team for new songs, bandmembers, and vocals. Maintain the media team schedule for training and events. Ensure that photographers are staffed and photobooths for events are setup. Oversee audio/visual personnel for church events and outreaches. Setup and oversee A/V projects and upgrades throughout the church. Ensure the schedule on Planning Center is up to date for both media and worship teams. Maintain budget for media A/V elements, products, and hardware across all campuses. Create graphics, CCLI subscription, and ensure all recordings are being edited and posted. Keep track and call any missing or absent parishioners weekly. Stay till the end of all church wide activities to help clean and make sure all tasks are prepared and completed for next service.
Sunday School/Life Groups Responsibilities:
Research, read, vet, and apply potential curriculum options. Order suitable curriculum quarterly. Develop (write, edit, distribute) new personalized curriculum made for Ridgeline church. Manage the budget for Sunday school curriculum and supplies. Recruit volunteers and develop them as teachers for the various Sunday school classes. Make available any additional teaching tools (making copies and uploading videos) that the volunteer teachers need. Create class rosters and signup sheets. Duties:
Participate in all church worship programs regularly. Perform baptisms, weddings, funerals, hospital visits, and other pastoral care as necessary. Serve in outreach events and within other ministries as needed. Ensure any church products and equipment used for the worship and media ministries are stocked, maintained, and repaired as needed. Ensure weekly cleaning is finished in a timely manner.

Actively working on your spiritual growth through reading, taking classes, listening to training resources, and attending conferences and seminars. Set a Christlike example in words and actions for the church and community while personally pursuing a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ. Live in such a way that glorifies Christ in your personal, social, and online everyday life; 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
