Job Description

Muskegon Surgical Associates, a busy multi-specialty surgical practice, is seeking an individual to join our team as a full-time (80 hours per pay period) Occupational Therapy Coordinator. Muskegon Surgical Associates, PC has been providing surgical care to West Michigan since 1972. We are an independently owned multi-specialty practice consisting of 13 surgeons and approximately 120 employees. Muskegon Surgical Associates is recruiting for a full-time Medical Assistant. This position is budgeted at seventy-two (72) hours per pay period/working four days per week. The position carries a work schedule of Monday through Friday, daytime hours. We are looking for an employee that displays excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Must also have strong planning, time management, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced medical office environment, being part of a great team, and enjoys floating between the plastic, general, and vascular departments. MSA is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, self-motivated, service-driven individual who can communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and outside stakeholders. We believe our success is determined by the types of relationships we develop, and the care we provide to our neighbors and community members.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an approved medical assistant program Associates Degree in Healthcare preferred Current certification in medical assisting:
CMA, RMA BCLS
Certified Minimum of 2 years experience required Minimum of 1 year in surgical specialty office preferred
