We need a strong cardiology-experienced certified medical assistant for patient-focused care to provide compassion and kindness to each and every patient they serve. In this role, the successful candidate could be responsible for patient triage, taking vitals, documenting findings, performing wound checks and INR testing, performing EKG's, assisting providers, advising patients and answering questions, monitoring device transmissions and more. In addition, you would be responsible for applying holter and event monitors, answering nurse line calls, and other direct patient care responsibilities. To be successful in this role, needed skills include not only clinical skills, but also active listening skills, a high degree of computer competence with EMR (ECW preferred) and Teams (Office365) platforms, compassion and a drive to provide the best possible care to patients.
