Certified Medical Assistant/ CNA

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including internal medicine, dermatology, urgent care, and geriatrics. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures and protocols, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patient responses. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 25% to other locations as required Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Experience in internal medicine, dermatology, urgent care, or geriatrics is preferred. Proficient in medication administration and basic clinical procedures. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic setting. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff professionally. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
