Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) North Franklin, CT 06254 Full-time Full-time Orthopedic Partners is searching for a fulltime Certified Medical Assistant to join our team of dedicated providers in North Franklin and Niantic CT. Candidates must possess a current CMA certification to be considered. The Certified Medical Assistant will provide excellent patient interaction and care while assisting the Orthopedic Partners Practice in areas including communication, cleanliness, documentation, and equipment use. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, rotating early arrival and late-night assignments. Essential Responsibilities - Excellent public relations and communication skills with our patients Support physician's with optimal support Ensure clean and stocked exam rooms, maintain inventory of supplies. Ability to follow all infection control policies and
OSHA/HIPPA
regulations. Ability to follow established protocols for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Ability to provide excellent customer service and respond to patients changing needs. Utilize Orthopedic Partners computer software to maximize efficiency. Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping. Operate and maintain equipment following all Orthopedic Partners procedures.
Requirements:
CPR certification High school diploma and additional training courses resulting in a degree or certification as Medical Assistant, Associates Degree preferred.
