Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a timely and efficient manner. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform basic life support and emergency procedures as needed. Administer medications and manage patient care under the supervision of a physician or nurse. Document patient information accurately in electronic health record systems, including coding for billing purposes. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information. Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Support the healthcare team in managing patient flow within the clinic or facility. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Experience in internal medicine, geriatrics, or urgent care preferred. Proficiency in basic life support techniques. Strong skills in patient service and communication. Familiarity with medication administration protocols. Ability to work effectively in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
