Clemmons, NC How You'll Impact Patient Care:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Ensures accuracy and timeliness of patient laboratory test results. Ensures quality of test results by following defined Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures. Ensures safety and compliance. Maintains appropriate education to accomplish work objectives and maintain current certifications as applicable. Ensures productive and efficient operations of the section and department. Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
Education & Experience:
Associate degree preferred. Previous experience as a Medical Lab Technician preferred. Licensure, Certification and/or
Registrations:
MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required. Successful completion of a NAACLS approved Medical Technician program preferred.
