Job Description
•Single client, every day 9a-4p or flexible hours. Needs help 7 days a week, hiring for multiple shifts. •Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and deliver high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. Whether working in long-term care, acute hospitals, or community-based services, you will be at the forefront of promoting comfort, safety, and well-being for diverse patient populations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to a caring and dynamic environment. Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Support medical teams with procedures such as catheter care, wound dressing changes, and basic life support during emergencies Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments in memory care or assisted living settings Help with patient transfers using Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols Document patient observations accurately in medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care environments like Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units to deliver comprehensive patient service Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices including aseptic technique Ability to perform vital signs measurement and basic patient assessments reliably Experience in various healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics is preferred Strong caregiving skills complemented by excellent communication and teamwork abilities Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
