Job Description

Qualifications Wisconsin-registered Certified Nursing Assistant; graduate of an approved CNA training program High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior healthcare experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, compassionate bedside manner, and professionalism Physically able to lift, bend, and assist residents as required Acceptable criminal background check Reporting Relationship Reports to the Charge Nurse or Shift Supervisor Position Summary Provides routine, non-professional nursing care and support to residents in accordance with individualized care plans, facility policies, and state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, oral care, toileting, nutrition, hydration, mobility, and prosthetic use Perform safe transfers, ambulation, repositioning, restorative care, and range-of-motion exercises Observe, document, and report changes in residents' physical, psychological, or spiritual condition Obtain and record vital signs, weights, and other assigned measurements Support admissions, discharges, and room transfers Encourage resident independence, dignity, choice, and participation in self-care and activities Maintain resident rights, privacy, safety, and infection control standards Provide basic housekeeping of resident areas, including bed changes Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team; participate in shift reports and care planning Remain flexible in assignments, assist in other areas as needed, and perform additional duties as assigned Maintain required training, follow schedules, dress code, and facility policies Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and assist with transfers Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Pay:
$20.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on years of experience.
