Position Type:

Full-time or Part-Time| Hourly Wellspring is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Frankenmuth Skilled Nursing and Rehab team. In this position, you will provide direct care and support to residents in Saginaw County. Responsibilities Provide direct resident care including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, incontinent care, colostomy care, ambulation, transfers and range-of-motion exercises Follow individualized care plans and report observations, changes in condition and resident preferences to nursing staff Maintain resident dignity, privacy and comfort while fostering a warm, Christ-centered environment Support residents' rights and promptly report concerns related to abuse, neglect or restraint use Protect resident belongings and assist with locating missing items Promote skin integrity through repositioning, pressure ulcer prevention and proper skin care Respond promptly and courteously to call lights and resident needs Assist with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, weights, applying topical treatments and collecting specimens Accurately complete CNA documentation in accordance with policy Follow safety and infection control procedures including proper hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment Welcome and orient new residents and families during admissions and transfers Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Michigan required Six months of CNA experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred Strong communication skills and commitment to compassionate resident-centered care

Schedule and Compensation Employment Type:

Full-time or Part-time Schedule:

Day Shift (6:00 am

• 6:15 pm) or Night Shift (6:00 pm
• 6:15 am)

Weekends:

Every other weekend rotation required

Pay Rate:

$20.40

• $22.

90 per hour, based on licensure experience

Sign-on Bonus:

$1,500 sign-on bonus available for Full-time

• Shift Differentials:
