Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), or Certified Nurse Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Support clinical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, medication administration under supervision, and aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards. Collaborate with healthcare teams in diverse settings including hospitals (Level I Trauma Center experience preferred), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home care environments. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, memory impairments, behavioral health needs, or developmental disabilities. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and ensuring accurate medical documentation. Assist in patient education and support families by explaining procedures and providing compassionate care tailored to individual needs. Requirements Valid certification as a CNA or Medical Assistant recognized by state licensing boards. Experience working in critical care environments such as ICU or emergency medicine settings is highly desirable. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for delivering safe patient care. Prior experience in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting patients with Hoyer lifts and assisting with transfers safely. Strong communication skills combined with a caring attitude to support diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
