Client:
Our client is an individual living with a traumatic brain injury who lives independently with a strong support system, including a dedicated therapy team. They are seeking someone who can help them live safely and comfortably at home. Please note - The client is a smoker and has friendly indoor cats , so pet lovers are welcome!Schedule:
Daily Hours:
7p-7a This schedule will require an every other weekend and holiday rotationPay:
$17/hour Paid trainingKey Responsibilities:
Transportation to and from appointments Grocery shopping and running errands Light housekeeping and maintaining a safe living space Assist client with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring any changes are communicated to the nursing staff. Provide meal preparation and assist with feeding when necessary. Engage in patient observation to identify any changes in condition or behavior. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with individuals with traumatic brain injuries is highly preferred Compassionate, patient, and dependable Comfortable around cats Strong communication and organizational skillsRequirements:
