Certified Nursing Assistant/Personal Care Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our vibrant healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to nursing staff Support medication reminders following proper protocols and documentation standards while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform medical documentation accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to ensure seamless record-keeping Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral management strategies Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with laundry, cleaning duties, meal preparation, and ensuring infection control standards are met Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care tailored to individual needs and disabilities Qualifications Valid certification as a CNA or PCA from an accredited program; experience in nursing homes or long-term care settings is highly preferred Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in Alzheimer's/memory care environments Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation Current CPR certification and training in hospice or dementia care are advantageous Ability to work effectively with patients requiring assistance with ADLs and complex medical needs Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards patients of all ages and backgrounds Willingness to work in various settings including live-in employment opportunities or community-based care environments Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives!
