Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the Bethlehem, PA area and surrounding communities. This contract position is designed for compassionate professionals ready to make a meaningful difference in elementary school settings during the 2026-2027 school year. With a steady 35-hour work week, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with students and educators, tailoring interventions to help every child succeed.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Pennsylvania state license as a COTA and required clearances Experience or background in school-based occupational therapy preferred Familiarity with elementary-age student needs a plus Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary educational team Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students under the direction of an Occupational Therapist Support the implementation of IEP goals and therapy plans within the school environment Document student progress and maintain appropriate records Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student independence and participation in school activities Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance student success Enjoy a supportive work culture which includes weekly pay, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401k enrollment, and CEU reimbursement to help you grow in your career.
