Job Description

CNC Machinist Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and tooling, with experience in programming and or operating CNC machines. This role is crucial for producing high-quality parts and components that meet precise specifications. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines independently without supervision. Program CNC machines and write and save programs. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements. Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers and dial indicators to inspect finished products for accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and implement lean manufacturing techniques. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist. Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, and materials used in production. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is preferred. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
