You will work closely with an Occupational Therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans while managing your own schedule in the field. In this role, you will help patients improve strength, coordination, and daily living skills so they can remain safe at home. You will reinforce treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, and help them use adaptive equipment to make everyday tasks easier. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant | COTA Responsibilities Deliver occupational therapy treatments in patient homes as directed by the OTR/L. Assist patients with mobility, self-care, and daily living activities. Follow individualized care plans and therapy goals. Teach safe use of adaptive equipment and home modifications. Document all visits accurately in EMR. Communicate progress and concerns with supervising therapist. Work collaboratively with nurses and other therapy team members. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant | COTA Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current Minnesota COTA license. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Ability to work independently in a field-based role. Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
