Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with an Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and provide high-quality patient care. Your expertise in various therapeutic techniques will contribute to the rehabilitation and recovery of patients in an in home setting, with one-on-one treatments, and the flexibility to build your own schedule how it works for you and your patients. Responsibilities Assist OTR in the delivery of treatment programs tailored to individual patient needs. Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities such as trigger point therapy to enhance patient recovery. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families on care plans, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support rehabilitation goals. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and discharge planning. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care across various settings including acute care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and orthopedics. Uphold medical terminology standards while communicating effectively with healthcare professionals. Experience Candidates should possess a solid foundation in physiology and anatomy knowledge relevant to occupational therapy practices, be able to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to help patients meet meaningful goals. Previous exposure to diverse patient populations, including those requiring acute care or home health services, will be beneficial.
Pay:
$50.00 per hour
