OF POSITION
Responsible to support the manufacture of surgical instruments, implantableponents, or cases and trays. Responsible to perform receiving, in-process, or final inspections as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for utilizing aptitude in measurement techniques, metrology, and blue reading and verify operators are accurately measuring and recording dimensions on IP sheets or other documentation.
  • May perform first article and first piece approval for operators.
  • Perform and assist in developing internal and external corrective action responses.
  • Perform inspection duties, as required.
  • Support quality improvement and cost savings initiatives, as required.
  • Assist the supervisor, Quality Inspector II, and Quality Engineer, as required.
  • Assist in other production areas, as needed.
  • Be able to meet the visual acuity requirements (shades of color and color blindness).
  • Be able to meet the requirements of the vision screening test (eye chart).
  • Once employee demonstratespetency in position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education a plus. Basic knowledge of inspection methodology. Proficiency in blue reading. A minimum of 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment. Previous quality experience preferred. Attainment or future attainment of an ASQ CQI certification preferred.
SKILLS:
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain cooperation from others. The ability to use inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, and pin gages. Excellentanizational and record-keeping skills. Basicputer skills. Attention to detail required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible for the efficient operation of cleaning and anodizing part. Ensures quality material is produced in accordance with established standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Cleans and inspects parts to ensure they meetpany and customer standards in anodize and passivate.
  • s any problems throughout the production process and chooses best course of action. Consults with lead and/or supervisor as necessary.
  • Packages material according to customer specification with no damage to material.
  • Shows ability to verify anodize process POs
  • Notifies supervisor of any scheduling or quality problems.
  • Performs all duties in accordance withpany safety and standards.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Properly wears required Personal Protective Equipment.
OCCASSIONAL DUTIES
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • High School graduate or equivalent.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Toplete all necessary documentation for shipping products for the respective division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for all pick-ups needed by outside carriers (UPS, Fed-Ex, and trucks).
  • Schedulepany truck for drop-off of finished goods, including all off-shifts or weekends.
  • Responsible for the timely and accuratepletion and distribution of all required shipping documentation including all shippers, certifications, labels, inserts, lot numbers, and logs.
  • Verify that all configuration documentation (set drawings, packaging instructions, etc.) is correct and at the most current revision level.
  • Responsible forpletion of all work cell documentation, such as Visual travelers, inspection reports, scrap tickets, and all finished goods going to inventory.
  • Comply with ISO policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to create advanced shipping notifications for applicable clients.
  • Assist production in all areas and assist other management personnel as needed.
  • May be required to make or arrange deliveries in thepany truck during off hours.
  • Once employee demonstratespetency in position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles.
LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
(some duties may not to all cells):
  • May assist cell lead with the following duties: o Follow the production schedule to drive schedulepletion and maximize efficiencies.
o Know which team member will be running which parts/machines or equipment during their shift. Make sure team members are familiar with any problem areas. o Inspecting parts and paperwork in a timely manner before moving order. Visual inspection of some parts in the order. Correct part counts. Paperworkpleted correctly. o Identify non-conforming parts and initiate QHF process, if required. o Update cell boards/metrics and present cell data during management walks, as required.
  • Assist/lead daily meeting covering Safety, Quality or shift issues.
  • Keep production/machines running. Assist with or find a resource to ensure proactivemunication to reduce machine wait time: o For machine set ups. o For team members when they have production issues/problems. o When a machine goes down to get it back up and running as soon as possible.
  • Provide on-the-job training, knowing the skills of team members and provide training to enhance their skills and ensure documentation ispleted.
  • Process improvements/6S. o Give feedback to programmers on program changes, if applicable. o Identify process improvements and insure they are implemented withmunication to the Cell Leader, ME, QE or Programmer. o Perform 6S audits, work with 6S team.
  • Communication with other set-up employees.
  • Identify any items needed for production and ensure they are available. For example, gages, fixtures, and special tooling.
  • Provide input regarding annual reviews and promotions of team members to Cell Lead and Production Manager.
  • Set the example for team members to follow in all areas of personal performance, behavior and adnce to policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
High school graduate or equivalent. Previous pack/ship experience preferred.
SKILLS:
Must be able to work with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize accordingly. Computer skills and ability to read and understand blues preferred. Must be able to stand for at least two hours at a time and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance while bending and stooping. Flexibility to work modified hours, overtime and weekends, as needed.
