The Palms at Sebring is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our residents regain independence and reach their full potential. Assist Occupational Therapists with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatment sessions to improve residents' functional abilities, mobility, and cognitive skills Implement various therapeutic techniques, including exercises, activities, and modalities, to promote resident wellness and safety Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions, resident progress, and communicate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet residents' unique needsRequirements:
Current COTA certification or eligibility to take the certification exam Completion of an occupational therapy assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) Minimum 0 years of experience as a COTA (new graduates welcome to apply!)
