Job Description

Currently looking for a Licensed Skilled COTA to meet Long Term Care Home therapy needs. Individual must has good technical skills, good understanding of interdisciplinary approach, work independently, self motivated, able to to take direction and oversight input. Staff member will be required to be 85% productive. Positions comes with benefits. Summary As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will play a vital role in supporting patients' rehabilitation and recovery under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists. Your core skills in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology will be essential in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and developing care plans. With premium expertise in acute care, geriatrics, and pediatrics, you will provide compassionate patient care in various settings, including skilled nursing facilities and outpatient clinics. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance quality of life. Implement and monitor care plans under the supervision of occupational therapists. Provide patient care in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facilities. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support rehabilitation efforts. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
