Occupational Therapy Assistant Opening We are searching for effective, engaging, and enthusiastic occupational therapy assistants COTA to join our team in Roseburg, Oregon! We value team members who personify being able to explore and expand practice by implementing evidence based treatment, engage with a wide variety of staff, children, and families members in a positive and compassionate way, and who enjoy their interactions with others while doing this valuable work. Our occupational therapy assistants facilitate development and rehabilitation of pediatric clients birth to 18 with mental, emotional, and physical challenges by administering medically prescribed occupational therapy treatment. Job tasks include Collaborating with supervising occupational therapist to implement a holistic, family focused treatment plan that enables a child to develop and function across all areas of occupations Addressing goals that enable a child to develop and function across all areas of occupation Providing caregiver education and training for families Assessing goals, progress, and preparing clients and families for discharge when medically appropriate Within driving distance for therapists in Eugene and Grants Pass!
