Job Title:
Certified Pool Operator Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Certified Pool Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a current CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification and experience in pool and spa maintenance, water chemistry, troubleshooting equipment, and delivering excellent service to residential and/or commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of pools and spas (e.g., vacuuming, brushing, skimming).
  • Test and adjust water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc.) to ensure safe swimming conditions.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot pool/spa equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and automation systems.
  • Identify and report major maintenance issues or safety hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service visits, chemical usage, and equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local and state health codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus and with the right candidate we will help you get certified.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in pool and spa service (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of pool/spa equipment, water chemistry, and maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
Work Environment:
  • Mostly outdoor work, exposed to sun, chemicals, and varying weather.
  • Physically demanding: lifting, bending, standing for long periods.
  • May require early mornings, weekends, and on-call availability.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
