Certified Radiology Technologist

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Radiology Technologist to join our medical imaging team. In this vital role, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT scans, PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, and sonography, to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques to ensure high-quality imaging services within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to patient outcomes through precise imaging and diagnostic evaluation. Shift 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Responsibilities Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate various imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, PET scanners, mammography units, DEXA scanners, and ultrasound devices with precision. Apply appropriate aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during invasive or sterile procedures. Accurately capture diagnostic images while adhering to established protocols and safety standards. Assist in the evaluation of images for quality assurance and collaborate with radiologists for diagnostic interpretation. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations. Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any adverse reactions or emergencies during imaging procedures. Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technologies and techniques relevant to emergency medicine, urgent care, trauma centers, and specialized modalities like nuclear medicine. Support the implementation of diagnostic evaluation protocols across diverse clinical settings including Level I Trauma Centers and emergency rooms. Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere strictly to safety guidelines related to radiation exposure. Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist, supervised by a Radiologist, performs radiology procedures on patients. These procedures are requested by a physician or licensed provider to diagnose disease and injury, following established protocols.
