We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) to join our mental health and addiction recovery team. This vital role involves providing peer support, guidance, and encouragement to individuals navigating their recovery journeys. Provide peer support and mentorship to individuals in recovery from substance use or mental health challenges Assist clients in developing and implementing personalized recovery plans Offer emotional support, encouragement, and motivation to promote sustained recovery Educate clients about available resources, coping strategies, and relapse prevention techniques Collaborate with clinical staff, case managers, and community organizations to coordinate care Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies Advocate for clients' needs and promote their engagement in treatment and community activitiesRequirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) credential required Proven experience in peer support, mental health, or substance use recovery preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of community resources, recovery techniques, and relapse prevention Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be requiredSimilar remote jobs
