Job Description

Job Description Summary Be part of a High-Autonomy Practice in a growing surgical program. UVA Health's University Medical Center is expanding Perioperative Services and is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to support extended hour operating room coverage, Saturday elective programs, and sustained OR growth across multiple surgical sites. This expansion is a core component of UVA Health's bridge strategy through 2027, enabling increased surgical access while transitioning from incentive based anesthesia coverage to a stable, employed CRNA workforce. CRNAs at UVA Health practice within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model at a nationally recognized academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center, with a key differentiator being a high autonomy practice environment that allows CRNAs to work at the top of their license. About UVA Health UVA Health is a world class, Magnet recognized academic medical center and health system anchored by a Level I Trauma Center. Consistently ranked by U.S. News & World Report, UVA Health includes an NCI designated cancer center, Virginia's top ranked children's hospital, and a robust network of specialty and community care sites. Why Charlottesville? Charlottesville offers the perfect blend of career opportunity and lifestyle—nestled near the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park, with vibrant dining, wineries, arts, and a walkable downtown. It's a place where your career and quality of life can thrive. Background checks and pre-employment health screenings will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment.
