Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Bigfork Valley Surgical Center / $104.81 - $129.81 Hourly / Part-Time or Casual 258

Employee Referral Program Experience Pay Given Job Duties and Responsibilities Develops and implements a practice which provides effective and efficient patient focused care to all patients Represents the Anesthesia team and works collaboratively with attending physicians, surgeons, department administrative staff, nursing, and ancillary departments to meet the goals of Bigfork Valley Hospital. Performs pre-anesthesia assessment and evaluation including patient history, physical examination, and anesthesia care planning. Provides anesthesia care for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures consistent with AANA practice guidelines. Requests and evaluates pertinent laboratory studies, pulmonary function studies, including blood gases, respiratory therapy and other appropriate studies under established procedures Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care Provides post-anesthesia evaluations and care including pain management, management of post-operative complications, and nursing staff support. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient's medical record Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and continuing education activities as directed by the Director of Surgical Services. Provides education to nursing or additional staff as requested as a subject matter expert in anesthesia care and monitoring. Provides care consistent with AANA practice guidelines, and according to hospital policies, procedures, and medical staff bylaws.
