Certified Respiratory Therapist - Travel

Job Summary Frontline Health Staffing is seeking qualified Respiratory Therapists to support a facility in Kentfield, CA on a 18-week contract. The Respiratory Therapist will provide efficient, high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Responsibilities include administering respiratory treatments, operating and maintaining respiratory care equipment, and supporting the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases and illnesses. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Provide safe, effective respiratory care in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and professional standards Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory conditions Perform ventilator management, artificial airway care, and other respiratory interventions as assigned Conduct equipment maintenance, changes, and inventory management of respiratory equipment Assess patient respiratory status and implement appropriate interventions Identify patient and family learning needs and provide education related to respiratory care Communicate and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Make independent clinical decisions when circumstances warrant Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current, valid, and active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license in the state of employment Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications Two (2) year of critical care experience and/or experience with artificial airways and ventilator care Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills Ability to make independent clinical decisions Working knowledge of computer systems and clinical documentation software Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Active RRT or CRT license in the state of employment Documented proof of required education for regulatory compliance Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association Attendance Regular and punctual attendance is required throughout the 13-week contract

Pay:

$60.00 - $70.00 per hour
