Job Description:
Work with the Middle/High School Principal & General Education teachers to design and implement outstanding curriculum and instructional strategies to ensure all students achieve at high levels Create effective curriculum maps Create, review and refine IEP's meetings, and all state requirements for Special Education. Create outstanding lesson plans Ensure that all lesson plans and assessments correlate directly to Tennessee state standards Produce dramatic and consistent student achievement gains Continuously create and refine effective instructional practices Willingness to receive constant feedback and apply feedback immediately Administer tests to evaluate pupil progress, assess student work productivity and record results. Keep attendance records and maintain student files and transcripts. Assist with State-mandated student testing. Assist with monitoring and implementing Special Education requirements and IEP's.
Education and Experience:
-Minimum BA/BS -Current TN teaching license in the appropriate subject area
