Full Job Description Work Schedule & Time Off School Year:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (7.5 hours per day) Summer Schedule (6 weeks): Monday-Thursday, Fridays off
Breaks & Holidays:
Two 2-week summer breaks (late May and late July) 1-week spring break 1-week Thanksgiving break 2-week winter break All major holidays off
General Duties:
Responsibilities of the
GLA Speech-Language Pathologist:
Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to students according to the students' IEPs (groups and individuals). Provide in-person group and individual speech therapy sessions based on individual goals. Conduct assessments, translate and analyze assessment results, and develop reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech/articulation, fluency, pragmatics, language, and AAC. Develop, monitor, and report on goals; determine needs, design interventions utilizing research-based best practices. Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings. Maintain sufficient data to support the progress and growth of students toward their documented goals Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
