Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic surgical team with a schedule of every other Wednesday. In this vital role, you will assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment and supporting surgical procedures across various specialties. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care, maintaining high standards of infection control, and supporting surgeons during complex operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting where your technical skills and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes. Duties Prepare the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile, organized, and ready for use Assist surgeons by passing instruments and other sterile supplies during procedures with precision and efficiency Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all phases of surgery to prevent infection and ensure patient safety Monitor vital signs and patient responses during procedures, providing critical support for anesthesia teams when needed Collect and document data related to surgical procedures, including patient information, instrument counts, and intraoperative observations Requirements Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program (e.g., CST certification) is preferred. Will consider Scrub Assist for this role. Proven experience working in OR settings with Cataract Surgeries. Familiarity with infection control practices, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support certification is essential Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail to ensure procedural accuracy and patient safety Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations ambulatory surgery centers while maintaining professionalism and compassion Join us in delivering outstanding surgical care through your expertise!
