- $27 an hour
- Part-time Part-Time Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
- Evenings & Weekends Part-Time
- 15 to 25 hours/week
- Weekday evenings (2 to 10 PM) & weekends (9 AM to 7 PM) Looking for a flexible, meaningful way to add hours to your week?
- Hours per week: Flexible. 15 to 25 hours per week, with scheduling built around your availability. Pick up as few or as many shifts as you want within that range.
- Weekday evenings: Shifts generally fall within a 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM window.
Weekends:
Shifts generally fall within a 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM window.- Shifts evolve with the team: Exact shift lengths and start/end times will be finalized once the evening and weekend teams are built and preferences are collected. We will work with you to land on a schedule that genuinely fits your life.
- Weekday coverage opportunity: As weekday shifts open up through scheduled time off, busy stretches, or team growth, part-time team members will be the first people we ask to pick up additional hours. If you want more hours, we want to give them to you first.
- Minimum commitment: We ask for a consistent pattern you can reliably cover each month. If life changes, we will work with you to re-pattern the schedule. Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Triage and manage urgent care cases alongside the veterinarian on shift, including patient assessment, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and post-op monitoring.Diagnostics:

At Transcend Veterinary, CVTs will not be expected to scribe for veterinarians. We utilize scribes to handle documentation. While you may enter your own assessments and treatments, our goal is to limit administrative tasks so you can focus on using the full range of your skills in patient care. What We OfferGrowth & Career Development:
We believe CVTs should be fully utilized to the full legal extent of their training and expertise. Part-time CVTs are eligible to participate in our weekly case reviews (schedule permitting) and CE opportunities.- Predictable scheduling: Because our evening and weekend team is starting out small and tight-knit, your shifts matter. We plan schedules thoughtfully, confirm coverage early, and avoid last-minute changes except in true emergencies.
Relaxed Environment:
No uniforms required, so no need to buy a whole new wardrobe.Queue-Based System:
Our urgent care operates on a queue-based system, allowing the team to work at a comfortable pace and give each case the time it deserves.High Standard of Patient Care:
