Job Description

Veterinary Technician - Mobile Mixed Animal Practice Northern Colorado Love veterinary medicine but burned out by clinic walls, packed schedules, and the same routine every day? Come take your skills on the road. We are a mobile mixed animal veterinary clinic providing high-quality, in-home care throughout Northern Colorado, and we're looking for a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you thrive on variety, enjoy working closely with clients, and want to practice medicine in a more personal, less stressful setting, this could be the perfect fit. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with both large and small animals , build real connections with clients, and enjoy the scenery and independence that come with mobile practice — all while making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their families. What You'll Do Assist veterinarians during exams and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort Perform diagnostics including radiographs and laboratory testing Monitor vital signs and support patients requiring critical care Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments Maintain accurate, detailed medical records Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and overall animal wellness Handle animal patients confidently and compassionately Use veterinary and dental terminology in daily clinical tasks Keep the mobile clinic clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or similar role preferred Comfortable handling a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments Knowledge of animal physiology and veterinary critical care is a plus Experience with veterinary laboratory procedures preferred Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset Experience in both large and small animal medicine highly valued Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a mobile environment Why You'll Love Working With Us A change of scenery every day — no four walls, no monotony Meaningful, one-on-one client interactions in a calmer home setting Hands-on medicine with both large and small animals Supportive team environment that values compassion and quality care The chance to explore Northern Colorado while doing work that matters If you're passionate about veterinary medicine and ready for a role that offers freedom, variety, and purpose, we'd love to hear from you.
