Responsibilities Lead energetic and well-structured yoga classes tailored to diverse skill levels, emphasizing proper technique and safety. Design innovative class programs that incorporate elements of physiology, body mechanics, and anatomy to enhance participant experience. Educate participants on breathing techniques, postures, and mindfulness practices to improve flexibility, strength, and mental clarity. Adapt class content based on participant needs, fitness levels, and feedback to ensure an inclusive environment. Promote health and wellness by integrating related disciplines such as Pilates, when appropriate. Support the gym's fitness sales efforts by engaging with members about personal training options and upcoming classes. Maintain a safe environment by monitoring participant form and providing modifications or assistance as needed. Requirements Certification in Yoga instruction from an accredited organization; additional certifications in Pilates, group fitness, are a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to ensure safe practice and injury prevention. Experience teaching group fitness classes with strong communication skills that motivate and engage participants. • Passion for health and wellness with a commitment to fostering a positive community atmosphere.
