Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy under medical direction, including patient evaluation, treatment, management, and diagnostic care for individuals with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. Assist with intubations and manage ventilator set-up and maintenance. Compile accurate clinical information to assess patient needs, provide disease-specific education, and consult with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Build rapport with patients, caregivers, and colleagues to foster an optimal environment for patient care goals. Educate patients and their families, ensuring clear communication tailored to individual needs. Maintain high standards of organizational competencies and compassionate patient interactions. Participate in additional assignments, projects, and uphold professional behaviors. Physical tasks include lifting, pushing/pulling a minimum of 5 lbs., and standing for at least 1 hour daily.

Qualifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist certification required. Demonstrated experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred. Strong communication and patient education skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team setting.
