Charge MRI Technologist - $20,000 Sign-On Bonus! McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving the Willamette Valley and its residents. Our 113-bed hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care. We are a family of caregivers offering care to our larger family — our community.

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Director and interpreting physicians, performs MRI procedures according to established protocols. Oversees MRI daily operations, quality control, care and maintenance of equipment as well as coordination of daily patient workflow. Assists in program development, marketing services, staff training and orientation as well as policy and procedure implementation when requested. Acts as clinical expert for department and ensures all MRI accreditation and equipment requirements are met. Performs designated supervisory functions.
Educational/Licensing:
Current ARRT registry and Oregon State licensure. Advanced registry in MRI and current BLS certification required.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years MRI experience required, preferably in a hospital setting. Prior supervisory experience with MRI program development and supervision preferred. Must have the ability to work efficiently, responsibly and in a team-oriented atmosphere with multiple work demands. Previous experience in ACR accreditation preferred. Complete working knowledge of MRI equipment, protocols and procedures as well as contrast administration. Ability to perform essential job functions and job-specific competencies. Must possess strong interpersonal relations skills and high sensibility to the needs of others; including the ability to communicate with patients and their families, physicians, supervisors, peers, volunteers and other customers.
