Job Summary More than a job: bring your heart, your skills, and your scrubs- Careview Transitional Care of Weston is hiring NURSES ! We are seeking dedicated and compassionate NURSES (RN/LPN/LVN) to join our team as a Charge Nurse for the day shift (6am to 6pm). In this role, you will oversee patient care, manage nursing staff, and ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of care during their stay. You will be responsible for coordinating with healthcare professionals, administering medications, and providing support to patients and their families. Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff during day shifts, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality care delivery. Coordinate patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor progress to optimize outcomes across diverse patient populations. Facilitate effective communication among interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to promote transparency and understanding. Oversee medication administration, IV infusions, wound suturing, and other advanced nursing procedures with precision and aseptic technique. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, OSHA, NCQA
standards, and state-specific laws including Workers' Compensation law. Manage documentation accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for seamless medical records management. Support quality improvement initiatives by participating in audits, incident reporting, and staff training sessions focused on infection control, trauma medicine, or hospice & palliative care. Requirements Valid RN license or LVN/LPN certification in Wisconsin Proven experience in skilled nursing facilities Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or PCC; familiarity with
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding is preferred. Strong clinical skills in areas such as cardiac catheterization, dialysis management, neurovascular procedures like spinal taps or gastrostomy tube feeding. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, behavioral health patients or individuals with developmental disabilities. Ability to perform physical assessments, vital signs assessment, specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, and sterile processing techniques. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to triage effectively during emergencies or high-pressure situation Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining patient safety standards.
Pay:
$30.00 - $44.00 per hour
