Chart Retrieval Specialist

Job description: The Chart Retrieval Specialist is responsible for retrieving medical records (both paper and electronic forms) from various healthcare facilities on behalf of health plans and other clients for retrospective and prospective reviews. We are looking for energetic self-starters with problem-solving skills, computer literacy, and the ability to quickly learn various software applications to retrieve medical record information electronically or through scanning from Provider offices and facilities. Perks Experience hands-on fieldwork. Travel to provider offices within a 60-90 mile radius, retrieve paper and electronic medical charts, and upload them into our secure system. You won't report to an Konnect office after the day is complete. Do you have anything left to submit at the end of the day? Do it from the comfort of your home. New to risk adjustment? We provide 2 days of paid remote training. Train virtually from home! We pay hourly. Reimbursement starts at mile one and includes in-between travel locations. Konnect supplies the work equipment. We provide a password-protected laptop, a scanner, and flash drives equipped in a convenient backpack with handles & wheels for easy handling. Gain hands-on EHR experience. Independent Position Skills Keeping track of passwords Responding to communications Checking their schedule Punctuality Asking for assistance when needed Problem-Solving Skills Exploring new Electronic Health Record Systems Attention to Detail and Accuracy Computer Skills Know how to download/upload files and store them in an organized file Ability to transfer files from software to a desktop folder Know how to copy and paste files, i.e., transfer files to a flash drive Document imaging or scanning experience is a plus

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED Very close attention to detail, including accuracy and efficiency Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills such as diplomacy, patience, and politeness Change direction and re-prioritize in response to changing work situations Prioritize conflicting needs; handle tasks and requests expeditiously and proactively Excellent time-management skills, including the ability to balance multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Excellent computer skills A valid driver's license and insurance/liability policy in the employee's name are mandatory in applicable cities/states when a motor vehicle is necessary for the position.
