Job Description
Chef de Partie - Kojin (Michelin Guide Restaurant) | Coral Gables, FL Kojin, a Michelin Guide-recognized restaurant in Coral Gables, is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. Known for its refined approach to seasonal ingredients, seafood, and innovative culinary techniques, Kojin offers an elevated dining experience in a stylish and welcoming setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence to their station, while collaborating seamlessly with the broader culinary team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and execution of dishes at your assigned station with precision and consistency. Maintain Kojin's high standards for presentation, quality, and flavor. Manage mise en place and ensure readiness for service. Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to implement menu changes and seasonal specials. Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Assist in training and supporting junior cooks. Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-focused kitchen environment.Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Line Cook in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and an eagerness to continue developing skills. Ability to lead a station with efficiency, organization, and consistency. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Culinary school education is a plus but not required.What We Offer:
