Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This role is vital in delivering exceptional food quality, maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience managing diverse food service environments. As a key player in our hospitality team, you will drive menu innovation, manage inventory efficiently, and foster a positive, motivated kitchen culture that thrives on teamwork and excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to guarantee high-quality dishes that meet brand standards Manage menu planning, including development of new offerings and seasonal updates to delight guests Supervise kitchen staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to cultivate a motivated team environment Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies as needed to prevent shortages or waste Maintain strict compliance with health regulations and safety protocols across all kitchen activities Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional culinary experiences Monitor food costs and manage budgets effectively to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards Menu design, menu costing; designing SOPs Vendor relations and management Requirements Proven experience in food production, restaurant management, or culinary leadership roles with a focus on casual dining or upscale service environments Extensive background in supervising kitchen teams and managing food service operations Strong knowledge of dietary requirements, food safety practices, and inventory control procedures Hands-on experience with menu planning, food handling, catering, and shift management Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork in high-pressure settings Familiarity with banquet experience and catering operations is highly desirable Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for culinary innovation and hospitality excellence Join us if you're ready to lead a vibrant culinary team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
