Join Our Team as a Kitchen Manager at Broken Bow Brewery! At Broken Bow Brewery, we are seeking a dedicated, experienced and high-caliber Kitchen Manager to take command of our culinary operations. As a family-owned craft brewery in Tuckahoe, New York, we take pride in producing a variety of small-batch beers and offering a unique tasting room experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food quality and customer satisfaction, as well as a strong background in restaurant operations. Our menu and "playbook" are established; your mission is to ensure every plate is executed to perfection, every shift is staffed for succes, and the kitchen runs with the precision of a high-end machine. This is a role for a leader who loves the "heat of the line" and takes pride in flawless consistency and operational efficiency. The Environment You will be working in a unique brewery setting where the tanks are visible to the guests. Because the kitchen is a central part of the guest experience, we require a manager who maintains a professional, high-energy and organized BOH culture.

Daily Responsibilities:

Precision Execution:

Maintain absolute adherence to the owners' recipes, plating guides and portion controls. You are the "guardian of the playbook." Leadership on the

Line:

Lead by example. You should be the strongest cook in the building, capable of stepping into any station during high-volume rushes to maintain pace and quality.

Staff Management & Discipline:

Recruit, train and hold the line team accountable to high standards of professional conduct, uniform and performance.

Operational Control:

Manage scheduling to meet labor targets without sacrificing speed-of-service.

Inventory & Sanitation:

Oversee all ordering and receiving to ensure zero waste. Maintain a "brewery-clean" kitchen that is ready for inspection at any moment.

Equipment Oversight:

Ensure all kitchen machinery is maintained and operated safely to prevent downtime.

Required Skills:

3+ years of management experience in a high-volume, upscale kitchen (gastropub or taproom experience preferred)

Technical Mastery:

Advanced line-cooking skills and the ability to teach those skills to others

Systems-Oriented:

A track record of following established SOPs and meeting specific KPIs (Food cost, labor cost, ticket times, etc) Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Strong, professional communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure in an open-kitchen environment High school diploma or equivalent Nice to

Have Skills:

Servsafe Manager certification is preferred Experience in retail or events management Knowledge of math for inventory and cost calculations

Salary and Benefits:

Salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits package includes paid time off and employee discounts on brewery products. We utilize a salary + bonus structure.
