Production Technician Job Description As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of machinery and products through various maintenance and repair tasks. The role involves frequent bending and lifting of up to 50 pounds, performing PC functions related to maintenance, and collaborating with a maintenance technician to complete repairs and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Ensure quality of machinery and products through repairs and troubleshooting. Perform PC functions related to maintenance. Enter parts inventory into the work system. Complete work orders, including comments and parts associated. Purchase requisitions for parts. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude Problem-solving and repair skills Understanding of manufacturing processes Troubleshooting Knowledge of pneumatics Preventive maintenance Chemical handling Additional Skills & Qualifications Degree in Industrial Maintenance or similar field Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean and organized chemical environment. The position requires working the third shift from Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with mandatory overtime starting at 8:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cartersville, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $30.00/hr.
