Chemical Packer Shift/Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

3-5 years We are excited to share a new opportunity! The Production Associate is a hands-on role responsible for the safe and efficient handling, blending, and packaging of liquid and dry chemical products. You will work in a warehouse and outdoor plant environment, ensuring that chemicals are transferred from bulk storage into specific containers (drums, totes, pails, or bottles) according to precise customer specifications.

Primary Responsibilities Packaging & Filling:

Operate pumping and gravity-feed systems to fill containers in predetermined quantities. Ensure correct labeling and weights are applied to every unit.

Loading/Unloading:

Assist in the loading and unloading of bulk chemical trailers and storage tanks.

Equipment Operation:

Safely use pumps, hoses, valves, and scales. Maintain and clean equipment (tanks, lines, and tools) between batches to prevent cross-contamination.

Inventory & Documentation:

Accurately complete batch tickets and paperwork. Monitor packaging material usage and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

General Labor:

Maintain a clean and organized work area. This includes sweeping, disposing of waste, and moving materials via pallet jack or forklift (if certified).

Safety Compliance:

Follow strict PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements and safety protocols, as you will be working with various chemical compounds.

Physical Requirements Lifting:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently.

Environment:

Must be comfortable working in an outdoor/warehouse environment subject to Texas weather (heat/humidity).

Stamina:

Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and bend for the duration of an 8- to 10-hour shift.

Grooming:

For safety roles requiring a respirator, you may be required to be clean-shaven for fit-testing.

Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Skills:

Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing) are required for weighing and volume measurements.

Experience:

Previous experience in chemical operations or a warehouse environment is preferred but not always required for entry-level general labor. Forklift experience is a major plus.

Requirements:
